4 TYPES OF PLAY
- Cognitive play: critical thinking skills and creative development
- Social-emotional play: learning to interact with others
- Language & literacy play: development of vocabulary, understanding the relationship between work and letters
- Physical play: development of fine and gross motor skills
SSAI preschool is designed to meet the individual needs and developmental level of each child from the following through a strict daily schedule, consisting of 30 minute time frames: SCIENCE AND DISCOVERY, LANGUAGE SKILLS, SOCIAL SKILLS, GAMES, NUMBERS, READING READINESS, COMPUTER ACTIVITIES, FINGER PLAY, DRAMATIC PLAY, CREATIVE ART, MUSIC, BOOKS AND STORIES, DANCING AND PLAYGROUND. Caregivers will follow planned activities by following the Mother Goose Time Curriculum and The Read By Six Computer Curriculum.
